2014 | Cantine Nicosia produces the first Brut Bianco in Etna DOC

The first ‘blanc de noir’ from certified Doc Etna Nerello Mascalese came out in 2014 by Nicosia. With Sosta Tre Santi Etna Brut millesimato 2011, to which Carricante Brut was immediately added, the company completes a long work of research to make spumante wine from local grapes, becoming a new point of reference in the Etna area and classical method.

In 2018 Sosta Tre Santi selection was enriched by another prestigious label: Etna Brut Sixtymonths, 5 years on yeasts, produced limited edition to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the company. But even younger is the new born of the collection, Etna Rosato, that came out at the end of 2020, classy spumante showing the extraordinary versatile characteristics of Nerello.
